I don't think he claims ACH is anything and ACH is more than just check
cashing. ACHDirect does pos script, debit, and ach transactions. I've used
them plenty in the past and they are ok to work with but be sure and have
your checkbook out as they are not the cheapest in town. You will also need
an established company, your past three years of tax information, and be
willing to undergo a background check in order to get setup. As for
interfacing with them, I was able to use a mixture of curl and php to
interface with them easily tough and they allow you to select how aggressive
you want to be with your auths to help prevent "fraud" read chargebacks.

Jack:
ACH is for electronic checks, it is not for credit cards.
If you are talking about Internet-based transactions, most
Internet processing gateways offer some kind of interface.
Many of the are in XML. In that case, it does not matter
what type of software you are running on your server.
If you are interested in discussing this, please give
me a call at (972) 612-6056 anytime.
Thanks,
Neil
