No one needs to apologize to me.  I am a well documented case of someone
who sometimes merges "confidence" with "cockiness."

All I ask people to do is not call for my banning, at least not without
asking me directly first (I will self-ban, ask to be moderated,
etc...).  I also have learned to ignore ettique comments, because people
differ on their views, and I can't please everyone.
