[NTLUG:Discuss] ThinkPad 570 Memory (PC-88 SO-DIMM, 32-128MB)

Howdy,
  I have most of a ThinkPad 570 and I would like to install SuSE 9.1 on
it.  The problem is that I only have 64 meg of ram.  Does anyone have a
memory module they can bring to the next LUG meeting?  I just want to
use it long enough to install Linux and I can give back the memory that
morning.  SuSE will run well enough with only 64 meg that I can use the
machine, but it won't install with less than 96 meg.

 To forestall the the obvious questions, let me add that I created a
swap file of 512 meg and used it when installing.  SuSE says it will
install with as little as 64 meg if you do this.  I have tried on
several machines I can say that it always fails with 64meg and I can
always get it to work with 96 meg or more.  I have not tried 80 meg, so
I don't know where the actual cutoff is.
