Sorry all, Mad Hat has affirmed off-list that GMail invites are not welcome 
here.  I guess they go to other LUGs - I'm on the CTLUG and AustinLUG lists 
as well.  I imagine they'll be more receptive.

Just drives home the old adage - "No good deed goes unpunished."
