I did not think I was whining, I thought I was doing what I was asked
to do. Police the group and try to keep the unnecessary traffic down.
I admit my last email was too much. People ping me off list then bring
parts of that back on when upset, or others say good job off list and I
never hear from them again, who knows. I personally don't think this
is the proper place for GMail invite threads, check Nanog,
Full-Disclosure, etc... for the long threads about gmail invites. I
was just trying to avoid their pain. I just got pissy when the comment
about how other lists are grateful for his generous contribution. More
power to them. Just because one list encourages an action does not
mean all should. What ever.
Oh and yes, he did unsubscribe. That was not my intention.
