Just wanted to pass along 'the fix' that allowed me to setup Win2k on
the Athlon64 board.

Seems like you will need a floppy drive to load disk drivers (for which
you pressed F6 to load additional drivers).

My problem was in Device Determination - it seemed to be find the
hard-drive, but hanging on others.....then it dawned on me - it's not
the CPU that Win2k is having problems with - it's all of the other
devices that are on the modern motherboard that'll support the A64 -
things like SATA, USB2.0, IEEE 1394, etc.

SO...I shut off all non-essential devices and was able to get the Win2k
base OS installed...then updated with multiple services-packs,
etc...then turned on devices - worked like a charm
