I will definitely be buying one before next July, when the broadcast flag
requirement kicks in. This law is the first, and probably not the last,
that outlaws open source. I've been waiting in hopes that they will
support QAM for cable HDTV. I have a MyHD MDP-120 now. (That means if I
want to watch hdtv on my linux box, I have to record it on windows first!)
There is a project to support the fusion chip cards on linux. I can't find
the link but I believe it works for watching but not recording.
