No, I'm one of those people who didn't. I've never had a problem installing anything from iso's I'd burned
from net downloads before and figured it might possibly be a corrupt
CD. The CD's did pass the media test, but that doesn't mean
anything...just means the CD's should be readable.

It couldn't be a disk full error as I had an almost empty 40G drive work
with. Had to be maybe a bad CD read or installer bug. We'll never know
now. However, if I do attempt to install it to another machine from
those CD's, I will check the logs assuming I can get into the machine to
see what went wrong.

I believe the answer to this would be no. RH put out several emails
last year stating that RH 9 would no longer be supported after December
(if I remember correctly) of 2003 the same time as they stated that RH 8
would no longer be supported.
