[NTLUG:Discuss] looking for someone to help me install wireless on a laptop

hey group.
I am looking for someone who could help me install wireless on gentoo 
(kernel 2.4.27) based gateway solo laptop. i really need this i am on the 
road a bunch and i need wireless. previous i was running vmware but this go 
to be a no go after vmware crashed every time i tried to do anything serious 
inside of the linux guest system. also i will gladly pay (that is money) for 
this persons time. (i cant go over board)

any ideas,
