Well, I seem to still be hitting dead ends. It's my lack of Linux knowledge I'm certain...what I am trying to do is not that unusual.
 
I want to have received faxes converted to pdf files and placed in a directory based on which modem the fax came in on. Each directory will be permissioned for the intended user so confidential faxes will be protected.
 
As I said in my earlier posts, Hylafax is installed and working (on one modem, but it is trivial to get multiple modems working). The problem I am having is strictly with delivery.
 
If anyone would like to tour a top-rated radio station and spend a few minutes helping me out with this project, I can certainly pay something for your time. I am under the gun and need this thing to work. I don't currently have the luxury of working through it myself, which would teach me a lot, but would take valuable time away from my other projects.
