[NTLUG:Discuss] OT: can someone name that PCB component?

Hi all,

I'm now trying to figure out the name of a certain PCB-mounted 
component.  Well, not a component so much as a means of 
connection...it's a part that works (and looks) much like a 
single tie point on a breadboard.  Main difference from a 
breadboard tie point is that it's typically shrouded metal, has 
no spring action, and often stands by itself or with only a few 
others.

Normally this sort of thing is there for the purpose of quickly 
debugging a PCB-mounted circuit.  I'm trying to locate some of 
these little things, but it's obviously a little difficult 
without knowing what the thing's called. :-/
