I don't like to use that as an excuse for myself.
We all equally have something to contribute.
It's the main reason I don't put the letters behind my name.
I want the merits of my own statements to stand on their own.

Again, I'm not upset. Someone made a general statement, then someone
defended me specifically. I didn't need that, even if you were trying
to help. ;->
Not a big deal.

I know you didn't think so, but others might. I can answer for myself.
And I don't like to use anything as an excuse.
Your effort is appreciated, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't always
send a good message. Especially the knowledge bit.
E.g., a newer person to the list might be inhibited from posting if they
feel they do not possess as much knowledge as another member. Not only
that, but the idea that I can "get away with things" because I
supposedly "know more" is probably the worst thing for a list.
I know thyself. No reason to help excuse me. ;->
