Why not go with VMWare?  It'll give you two machines at the same time, 
use Linux as your base system and Windows under VMWare to get access to 
your Windows side.  You can swap between them a lot easier than dual 
booting, and besides, Windows under VMWare is much more stable than 
Windows under native hardware.
