I think that IBM is going to China so that it can get away from the 
Wintel monopoly here at home.  Intel and x86 are not the end all be all 
of PCs. Obviously, IBM sees a huge potential market for Power based 
devices----including PCs---in China.  IMO, the IBM/Lenovo deal ties in 
with the fact that IBM is now open sourcing its Power architecture.
