I just checked, and alexandria is only in Debian unstable, not in
testing or stable.  So you'd have to include an apt source for unstable
in your /etc/apt/sources.list file.  For example,

	deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ unstable main

Also, synaptic is a good graphical front-end for apt that lets you
manage repositories and packages very easily.
