The yield for all 6800s is poor, for the first few months of existance, the
AGP variants were going for the same prices (Ultras selling for $600-$900).
It was only last month that the GTs became generally available, and now
Ultras are starting to creep out.  AGP was first as they were working out
the bridge, but they just do not have enough chips yet to meet both
demands.  Check the eVGA website, 6800s are listed as backordered, and
"market price" instead of an SRP listed...

AGP got priority since the bridge was being worked out.  IT is simple
supply and demand, list price is the same for PCI-Express and AGP variants,
only the PCI-Express boards are not in the marketplace in any sort of
quantity.
