Howdy,
I have a Ubuntu(debian) server with a samba share available to my home
network. The machine I am typing this message on is SuSE 9.2 and has a
fstab entry to mount that share. I just tried it and I can go 5 or 6
levels deep with no problem. I have seen it hang when files in the
samba shared directory had the wrong owner and no public permissions
because I had moved the file into the samba directory. So, I suggest
looking at that.
Good luck,
Ralph
