OK, it worked, but now I would like to understand a little bit of what is the difference.

When I first tried, it gave me the error message that I had to run "rpm --import public.gpg.key", naturally no mention was made of the directory that you (and Clif) made note of. Went there and, low and behold found the gpg files.

Well, my next thought is to gpg import, so did that and it didn't work. OK, did what I was told, and then it worked.

Can someone please help me understand why an "rpm" is used instead of the gpg? Would appreciate the assistance in learning curve. Sometimes just doing it is not enough.

Thanks,
Dennis

Clif's response is correct
Use above commands and import from your systems gpg keys.
