The difference between viewable IRS forms and fill-in forms is explained here:

Note that on the finished product, the only real difference is that the values 
will be easier for a OCR to pickup from the electronically filled in forms. 
The forms don't do any math for you. Its up to you to do all the validation. 
Either version you have to snail mail to the IRS.
