OK, you and Victor seem to think this is worthwhile, so I'll upgrade
and see if I notice an improvement.

(And I might take you up on your offer on your config files!)

I realize that there's no solution that will intercept 100% of the
spam I get. I've been running my own mail server for a couple of
years now, and very much enjoy having control over my own e-mail
setup. I've found TMDA to be very useful, although I've reconsidered
the challenge/response aspects of spam control and have decided, after
a lot of consideration, that the world simply isn't ready for C/R.
But the whitelist/blacklist functionality is great, and seems to be
much easier to set up and administer than SA white/blacklisting.

So right now, I have qmail feeding spam to SA, and using the spam
score in a procmail rule to dump the blatant spam into a temporary
folder, and the borderline spam into TMDA's pending file with some
scripts that allow me to either release or dump that spam through an
e-mail interface. If I could get more accurate SA scores, that would
solve most of my spam issues!
