[NTLUG:Discuss] Enlightenment

I had no idea that my rant would have lead to such a thread.
It was enlightening, to say the least. I have watched several
dvds on the computer, especially during that time between dvd
players in the living room. I also have been known to run
cable from the office to the vcr to backup dvds to tape
which, if I understand the purists among you, is not a good
thing. The movies are still better than off-the-air copies
and are enjoyable to us, which is all that counts. 

Because of my video surveillance business I spend way too
much time watching video in this box and have little desire
to continue it while relaxing. Your mileage may vary.

My spare time recently has been taken up trying to get a
Compaq p.o.s. 7360 to run. The best that I can squeeze out of
it is Mandrake 9.0. When it's finished I may give it to one
of my sales reps that currently has no computer so we can
keep in touch.
