[NTLUG:Discuss] Wanting to speak the language

I too vote for 'C' as an excellent choice.  And I recommend this book, 
although some may not agree, and I don't know why Amazon list Ritchie's 
name twice(???).  I have had my copy since about 1990, and I shall not 
part with it.
