Did you copy your profile from one machine to the other?  Your path
might not include the location of 'ifconfig' on Redhat.  (it's in
/sbin on Enterprise Linux AS3, so probably the same place on Fedora
2).  You can always use slocate to find the program if it's not in
/sbin.
