[NTLUG:Discuss] Request for 'Improving SuSE Professional' Part II

Was hoping to share some experiences and make some request's to improve
my 'SuSE Experience'....having recently shifted main email computer to
SuSE 9.2 Professional.

EXPERIENCE:  Was having a hard time getting VNC to connect.  Normally my
email machine is 'headless' and I VNC into it...worked like a charm with
Fedora - was getting weird responses when using Suse (would connected
to :1 window, could see that Xvnc was running on system) - but no screen
would pop-up.  COULD connect through the browser version
(ie. :5801)....but confused as to why client connections were a 'no-go'.
Lucking some trouble-shooting time with Ralph Green revealed that you
need to choose "OPEN USE 3.3 PROTOCAL' in the client..and it worked!
Although I'm still hoping to find something similiar to 'vncconfig'
which allowed clipboard exchange - suse seems to be void of that
command.

REQUEST: While using Evolution - I'd like to find a way to change the
'selected background color' on messages/folders.  When a message is
'selected', the background is dark-blue and text is black.  I've gone
into 'Control Center' and changed the 'Theme'...but Evolution doesn't
seem to accept the 'selected background' - changes the window color, but
not colors within Evolution.  Help!
