I just bought my wife a Dell refurbed Lat D600. Great
Linux laptop btw (everything work, incl wireless).
But the USB ports were broken on the thing, and when
I went into VMware, I would get massive feedback
through the speakers and everything would lock up.
Made a service call, Dell was out there the next
day and replaced the motherboard on the laptop
in 5 minutes (I'm not kidding). Fixed the USB
ports and the sound problem. Hard to beat Dell's
3 year warranty... well.. at least I had a good
experience with it.
That D600 is running SUSE 9.2 (if that matters).
