Why not just carry a crossover cable, use two NICs in one laptop and
NAT to the other?  [IPMPASQUERADE]
In my opinion, it'd be simpler and easier, just carry an extra
[pcmcia] NIC,  or two, and a crossover cable, (no routers no hubs,
"Travel light".)
