I'm pretty sure its not the SCSI controller. When I boot from the CD and
run rescue (2.6 kernel) all of the partitions, including the SCSI drive,
mount correctly (/mnt/...) and I've accessed each w/o any problems. All
regular files are on the IDE drive with /boot, swap, and / on different
partitions. The SCSI drive has my /server dir as a single partition.

The install goes off without a hitch, loading 2.6 kernel. I did find that
my video card is not correct from the auto detection. It shows up as a
Riva TNT2 when it's actually a Diamond Viper 770 AGP (Riva TNT). If you
watch the sequence MDK runs the module find is right after mounting the
swap. I'm thinking that the Riva TNT is not supported correctly (it uses
Nvidia drivers) and that loading the module is causing it. The MDK site
database of supported hardware no longer lists this card as supported.

I'll try pulling the video, then SCSI to see if I can track it down. MDK
has gone from a very helpful support site, to a very poor site to get
answers from, IMHO.
