[NTLUG:Discuss] Does anyone know a distro that that will play DVD's right out of the box (so to speak)?

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a distro that will easily play DVD's?
My wife's laptop is running SuSE 9.2 but I've have little to no luck
configuring it to play DVD's. We are about to travel with our little
ones and it would be great to be able to amuse them on the airplane by
playing one of their favorite DVD's for the duration of the trip.
 
I'll happily reinstall almost any distro if it will "just work" or come
close to that.
