[NTLUG:Discuss] No SCSI boot device found

Unless the 'new' hard drive is already munged, that changes my suspicion
towards the adapter.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to fall back upon basic
troubleshooting... Gack!

Change ONE thing at a time (HD, adapter, cables) until you find the problem
item. Don't just reseat - try a different (known working) cable - a pin
could have gotten pulled out without being obvious.

ah! the machine was in operating.

I have tried to replace the hard drive, got the same error message.

tried to Press <Ctrl><A> to run SCSI Select(TM) Utility, the utility did
not detect any hard drives. (have 3 installed). but I do see the scsi host
adapter AHA-2940AU on scsi id #7. not sure what does it mean.

thanks
