[NTLUG:Discuss] ok I need a little tip on this new system

I let the auto do setup on this new hard drive and I know that I am
using mozilla and I need to add a few items to get shockwave working. I
have install_flash_player_7_linux dir made from the tar.gz.
I found the directory /install_flash_player_7_linux .
I have the 2 items 
libflashplayer.so 

flashplayer.xpt 

in that dir plus the flashplayer-installer , I switch to root and issue
the cmd
#root>  flashplayer-installer 
like the directions say but nothing moves  from the Fedora directory, so
I tried
# root> run flashplayer-installer
 and that didn't work either.
I must be goffing up the syntax somehow.

Well I decided to move the .xpt and .xo files manually ,
only problem is I cant locate the mozilla dir :)

I hope someone here can give me a few pointers, because I have spent way
too much time looking already for the mozilla dir.
any clues or tips appreciated, we can all laugh about it together.
guess I'm a bit rusty on my syntax.
