[NTLUG:Discuss] Asus Vintage does not boot after FC3 install

Terry and all others that replied to help:

Thank you for the suggestions. Just to check, I reinstalled
FC3, but this time, I created a /boot partition of 128MB.
Now the machine boots just fine. Strange.

Everything is now working fine except one thing:

I can ask the machine to shutdown. It will bring down the
OS and power off the machine. Once the machine is off,
it boots just fine.

If, however, I ask the machine to reboot, it brings down
the OS and then tell me it is restarting, but it never
does. It just sits there until I manually turn it off
and back on.

Any ideas what could cause that?

Thanks,
	Neil
