Most employers want a degree. Not all specify what degree. They want
someone who has had the extra education college provides and the
discipline necessary to finish.
That said, if you have a degree in something else like liberal arts, I
would probably not recommend going back for another degree unless you
are in your low 20s or if people in our business laugh at your degree
(e.g. Physical Education degree).
Build your abilities, take some classes to get up to speed faster, get
some certificates. Suck in all the knowledge you can as fast as you can.
