It's like....
If you move to a new home, your address will change.
Your friends will not know where your new home is until you tell them.
 They're not going to automatically know, you have to manually tell
them.   You have to fill out a change of address card, send it to the
post office, tell your friends and creditors your new address, ....
etc. etc.   If everyone had the same friends and creditors and
correspondents, the process could probably be automated to a certain
extent, but that's just not the case.
