FYI...
This discussion peaked my interest because I have a very neat Windows
WiFi signal strength tool that came with the USB WiFi adapter I bought
for my dual boot SuSE 9.3/W2k laptop. I was hoping to get that tool to
work with SuSE 9.3 somehow. One of these tools might be a better way
to go.
So I did a Google for "linux wifi signal strength" for my own benefit.
I found the following article which looks very interesting to me, who
does not know a whole lot about this topic---
<<http://www.linux.com/article.pl?sid=05/09/13/1914255>>
The article recommends Netapplet, a Gnome applet for SuSE 9.3, or
Kinternet, which is the KDE applet. Netapplet requires "Wireless Tools
for Linux" from---
<<http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/Tools.html>>
Anybody using one of these?
Thanks, Robert
