If you subscribe to HP's patch alerts for it's PC line you might be 
surprised at just how many Linux announcements there are.  My 
unofficial, gut guess is that right now the Linux announcements are 
equal to the Windows announcements.  This in itself says a lot about 
HP's thinking concerning Linux because patches and enhancements cost 
them money.
