[NTLUG:Discuss] OT - libwww question

The problem is this
(1) pass an XML text message from server A to server B
(2) receive an XML text message on server A from server B, in response 
to the original message (item 1)

The question is this
Using libwww, is that
(1) get
(2) put
(3) both
(4) something else altogether
?

Obviously I am really new to libwww
