plunger running SUSE 9.1 with Samba 3.0.14a
fiorina running SUSE 9.3 with Samba 3.0.20b
(from my host, behemoth, running SUSE 9.3 with 3.0.13 (stock 9.3 with updates)
# mount.cifs //plunger/windows /mnt1 -o user=ccox
# mount.cifs //fiorina/ftpupload /mnt2
(I have a 2.5GB file)
# cp bigfile /mnt1
(twiddle thumbs)
# cp /mnt1/bigfile /mnt2
(twiddle thumbs)
(took 8 minutes)
Ta da!
No problem.
My box, behemoth, normally wouldn't be the
go between for something like this... but
ok for just a test.
