I'm sorry, but you don't know what you're talking about.  Go look on
Monster or any other job board and search for LPI certification.  Then
search for RHCE certification.  The RHCE is *much* more valuable.

Additionally, take a look at

Certcities.com rates the RHCE as the #1 hottest certification for 2006.

Why is the RHCE so good?  It's an all-day, performance-based test.  In
other words, you sit your happy ass in front of a computer with a multi-
page checklist of things you have to make the server do.  If you don't
make get the first set of tasks done in the morning, you're out.  If you
don't actually know how to do your job, you're out.  You can't cram and
regurgitate on a Red Hat test like you can on every other one out there
but Cisco's CCIE exam.  You have to know your stuff and be able to do it
in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

It's one of the hardest tests I've taken (and I've taken a lot), and
it's the one I am most proud of having passed.

Now Red Hat has offered up two additional high-level, performance-based
certs, the Red Hat Certified Architect
(https://www.redhat.com/training/architect/courses/) and the Red Hat
Certified Security Specialist
(https://www.redhat.com/training/security/courses/).  I am sure they
will be as hot as the RHCE is.
