These features are done in the "lp" or "lpr" commands.
On my SuSE 9.3 only "lp" shows these options. You will have
to determine what is used on your installation.
I have seen some graphical front-ends set up by users in
Window Managers to allow the "lp" or "lpr" command to
accept parameters at submission time. Like a "print" GUI.
KDE or Gnome may have a way to do this so they will generate
the correct command to CUPS.
I would have to do this with aliases and an icon for each alias.
