Most distros have vi aliased to /usr/bin/vim (VIMproved)
You either hit the F1 key (which I do all the time accidently when I
miss the ESC key) or you can also see the online help with ESC:help
You can also jump directly to the tutor from the shell command line by
typing vimtutor

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] where is that vi tutorial
Guys,
I recently discovered that vi possessed a built-in tutorial.
The other thing I remember was that it started simple and had
multiple pages and was formatted in the same way as an "info"
file.
Does somebody remember how I invoked that tutorial?
Tnx
Charles
