[NTLUG:Discuss] Something like mdstat on Windows Server?

Thomas:

I guess Microsoft did not think anyone would want to automate
checking the health of their server. That is just stupid.

Any other options you can think of?

I would really like to know if a disk fails without having to
manually keep checking it.

Thanks,
	Neil

Not really, not from the command line. You can right click on My
Computer, go to Manage, then look under the disk management snap-in to
check the health, but I don't know of anything command-line friendly.
