I realize that everyone is probably tired of hearing this branch of the
conversation, but I just had to add my counter opinion to the above
statement. The print-head "which is better" battle has been around for a
long time. Epson fans consider the head-per-printer to be of superior
quality than head-per-cart. The head-per-cart stays competitive by
putting a lower quality head on.

Lastly, I've had my Epson Photo 785EPX printer for many years. Several
periods of multi-week idle items. Running strong with no clogs. Yes,
after sitting for several weeks, I had to do a clean-head cycle. No big
deal. Oh, I confess. One of the motives for looking into store and/or
online photo printing is so my wife has one less excuse of her not able
to print photos (she has me do them).
