Leroy,
By trial and error I found a workable solution today. I used generic VESA
driver (video driver # 0 ) and option 6 for refresh rate and used only 1024
x 768 because it uses 60 hz rate which i read is max this card can deal
with....actually it seems to work fine now.

only problem now is i wanted to use kernel 2.6 but for some reason it wold
not work with 2.6.....or, maybe i made a mistake with a setting ???  or
maybe the kernel does something different regarding the video driver, i
dunno.
