BTW, I was just thinking I should convert my Church's page to a pmWiki
site  -  any hints / suggestions / encouragement? (Especially ideas
for a fairly easy or orderly transition.)

There are a few things that could be more of a collaborative effort,
and more dynamic, and especially a more active participation in
developing the content, ("many hands make light work").
Right now, it's just myself and one other doing all of it, but there
are at least 3 others that are certainly willing and able to add
content, just not knowledgeable enough or willing to learn to work
with html documents and upload stuff to the server, etc.

Was also wondering if it makes sense to convert only a couple of sub
pages to pmWiki, (at least for now anyway).
  i.e.
saint-annes.org/Events.html
&
saint-annes.org/Alpha-Course.html
& maybe even
saint-annes.org/Services.html

I don't really know if you can mix pmWiki sub pages in with regular
ones or not, but just a thought.
