[NTLUG:Discuss] Suse problems

I am running Suse 9.1, so last night I took the plunge and did a YOU and
selected all and went to bed. This morning (after a reboot) the nvidia module
won't load, so no GUI. Console mode Yast comes up but gives a n error when any
item is selected:
/usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base:
error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/lib/liby2pm.so.2: undefined symbol: _ZN6VendorC1ERKSs
So, my Y.O.U. system "upgrade" basically killed my box's usefulness since CLI
sucks for running X apps ;-)
How do I get it back?
I did go to /lib/modules/precompiled/2.6.5-7.252-default/nvidia/gfx and found
nv-linux.o-1.0-5336.pre but it isn't the right format to use as a kernel
module.
Any ideas? The system is running in init3, I can ftp to it with this puter, so
I could get something off the net from here and put it there.
I wonder what else is broke...
