That is a good sign , means the kernel is loading a module for the card ,
have you tried ndiswrapper ?
Do "dmesg" see if it is there and from root shell do "lspci" , if there and
no driver for it , it will not work , but all you need is the driver then .
Ndiswrapper uses Winder drivers .inf to provide drivers for PCMCIA cards in
Linux .
