I have friends and relatives in Houston, Waco, and Portland Maine who use
that service and seem to be pleased. They haven't shared any service
problems with me. They all have a simple one computer hook up running MS
Windows.

Subject: [NTLUG:Discuss] Roadrunner Internet?
I assume many area Comcast Internet users, if not all, have gotten their
notice from Time Warner about switching to roadrunner Internet service.
Are any of you guys currently using them or have any knowledge of them?
Should I be nervous about this change? I'm currently subscribing to the
768up option. I'm hoping they have something similar or better.
I use a Linux firewall for NAT, protection, etc. (Astaro Firewall) I
also host my own email, apache web server, and loads of other
linux-based services. I seriously hope I don't need to do any wacky
login or crazyness after the switch.
Sorry if this is slightly off-topic. I figured this change will
potentially impact many people in the group and, since we're in a
windoze world, it might screw with our linux installations.
Chris
