I have gotten some stuff from Altex, especially when I was in a hurry.
Some items their prices are the best around, some items are way over
priced. Caveat Emptor, YMMV. There is one in Carrollton, 972-267-8882
3215 Belmeade
Carrollton, TX 75006
They also have a store in Corpus Christi, which is a lot closer to
McAllen and may be a more frequent location for you to visit. Every
time I went into one of their stores, I always bugged them that they
need a store in the Valley. I lived in Pharr for almost 9 years.
