Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for logical and physical database design, database schemas, 
stored procedure design, and creation of data-access interfaces
Participates in the creation of development, staging and production 
database instances, and the migration of those instances from one 
environment to another
Responsible for all performance tuning of the staging and production 
database instances for both clients and imc²
Acts as custodian of the reference library for all database queries 
developed at imc2
Assists with complex query development
Mentor for all web and application developer
Provides input for designing and managing production database backups
Develops quality assurance guidelines and practices as they relate to 
database activity for all Web sites
As it relates to databases, responsible for quality assurance planning, 
developing test plans, test scripts, test cases, and results assumptions
Responsible for creating and managing departmental database 
documentation and standards

General Capabilities:
Ability to express complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Degree required.
