[NTLUG:Discuss] extra serial ports under linux

I have an old box that had one serial point built in, and I added 2 PCI 
cards to, each with 2 serial ports (added 4 serial ports, bringing the 
total to 5 in the box now).

Could anyone point me to documentation on how to set these new serial 
ports up in Linux to be able to use them, please?  Thank you in advance 
for any help you may be able to offer
